cayce library

this site has a triangular, heavily sloped site with a brilliant view of downtown nashville. developed in collaboration with mdha and the nashville public library. the exterior is inspired by modernist architecture with an open floor plan. the glass serves to maximize the natural light and views inside the library to create an inviting envionment. a large curved monumental staircase connects the two floors alongside the main desk.
